A collection of personal concept work. Being able to design and create a whole new universe is my favorite part of any work. The best part is being able to figure out which shapes work together, and ending up with a design you hadn't expected but love all the same.
When painting, I start my painting in grey scale in order to establish planes, values, and lighting. Afterward I add color to the value painting in order to really flesh out the detail.
Photoshop is the usual program I use in order to paint, though Corel Painter is proving to be a more versatile application for creating images.
